My friend is 15 yrs. She suffers from pain in both knees. Crack sounds. Swelling. Excessive pain in winter. Please explain the causes, treatment, & protective procedures.
Pain and swelling in both knees in a young person might be due to rheumatologic conditions. She might need to do some blood tests and plain radiographs of both knees. Her best option would be to see a rheumatologist.
