Aug 3, 2014

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
Diet soda, like regular soda, contains phosphoric acid. This compound leeches calcium from your body, rendering and your bones weak. Having weakbones make them fragile and substantially increases your risk of fractureseven with minor ttrauma, as such you cannot progress in exercise intensity as your level advances. Additionally, due to their caffeine content, sodas act as a diuretic (increases urination) , which in conjunction with exercise and sweating can cause dehydration.
