- it depends on the consistency of the cyst also..the main risk is in case of torsion as urgent operation will be mandatory.

The cyst was there when i got pregnant but when i gave birth it still was there its 4.5 cm and its not blood and not urgent thats what the doctor said but i why cant i take pills rather than surgery

- it depends on the type of cyst, if it is complex , surgery should be done
also if there is symptoms ( pain risk of torsion..)
simple cyst usually resolves by itself spontaneously in 2 cycles..
