I have an ovarian cyst that is 4.5 cm i asked a doctor about it he said that a surgery should be done but i know that it could go with a medicine .explain why he wants a surgery?
it depends on the type of cyst, if it is complex , surgery should be done
also if there is symptoms ( pain risk of torsion..)
simple cyst usually resolves by itself spontaneously in 2 cycles..
