Yes, i made biopsy one month ago, the results was 100% scabies, that's why i can't afford another one to make sure it's gone, still itching in new areas in my body, i tried everything possible
There is no need for biopsy to confirm the cure or the diagnosis of scabies. It is an easy clinical diagnosis. However, please let your Dermatologist check you, he will know if you still have it or no.
There is some resistance of the scabies we are seeing in Lebanon lately. I would advise you to continue the sulfur for a longer duration since it frequently would need more than a 5 days application. Scabies can take up to one month to start feeling the improvement sometimes even more. Another advice is check your contacts if someone in your family still has it you can get reinfected again. In case of no healing there are some other options not available in Lebanon but can be brought from abroad and your dermatologist can guide you towards them.
