Woke up to a severe headache. Been more than 8 hours and still painful. Not sure if it's grippe or something else. I know that if pain wakes you up then that's not good. Do I need to worry?

If you’re waking up in pain, there are several possible causes .
1-more common cause in your age with no other symptoms during a period of time usually:Migraines they are more likely to happen in the morning(sleeping too much or too less may trigger a migraine attack(especially if it runs in family, one sided pain ,nausea and vomit may be presented,..
2- sleeping too much or less ,tiredness and stress
2-medication may be waning in your body as you sleep, which causes a rebound headache,
3-Sleep apnea(a sleep disorder) sufferers may also be more prone to headaches early in the day, as are those with dental headaches.
4-and the bad cause you mention in your question is a brain tumor(symptoms repeated everyday or more frequently and headache at any time ,dizzeness,faint,...
if you suffer this pain more frequently check with your doctor
you can take for the pain, pain killers such as paracetamol,or ibuprofen to relieve it,not improved consult your doctor
