Recently a pimple appeared on the edge of my ringfinger,its hurting me.it showed inflammation&its extremely heated..isit a mosquito bite or something foreighn entered my skin?its harsh¬ itchy..
what you are describing are possible signs and symptoms of cellulitis (infection of skin tissue and subcutaneous layers.) if the redness is spreading and increasing you need to show it to a physician. whether its a mosquito bite or a foreign body, both will result in cellulitis if the erythema (redness) spreads or increase in size. you need to take antibiotics if its cellulitis.
if the redness is not spreading it could be just an inflammation without infection so a cream to soothe the inflammation might help.
