My Wife is pregnant in her third trimester( week 36). She is suffering from swollen extremities recently especially her feet. Should we be concerned about swelling?
pregnant patients can have swollen legs (especially ankles), but we should always rule out any other pathology related to this like PREECLAMPSIA ( associated with protein in the urine , so a urine analysis can detect that , along with a high blood pressure) or heart problem ( cardiac insufficiency or valvular problem)
