Is there in Lebanon any ADHD medications other than Ritalin, Strattera and Concerta? I mean if someone with severe ADD and didn't benefit from either of these.
these are the current medications for ADHD not only in Lebanon but also in France and Belgium and as far as I know in USA. if it is a secondary ADD or ADHD the medications can be a bit usefull but not miraculous. I mean by secondary that there is something underlying : could be sleep problems, overwhelming situation, mental retardation, psychological problem, other neurological illnesses....etc. You can try also to do behavioral therapy : change the method of learning, remove all distracting factors when studying or working (not in front of TV, no music,...) . You can work on behavioral therpay with a psychologist.
