I'm 18 years old since 6 months. Do I still have any chances to get taller? If yes, what can I do?

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
You may still gain a few centimeters but intervention at this stage is not warranted. Usually if there are concerns about height, an evaluation is done early on the dr takes a full history including the height of both parents, asks about any chronic conditions like anemia, poor thyroid function, gut problems, asks about diet, asks if other family members are short or had delay in gaining height, and orders a few tests, mainly bone age (an X ray of the hand to assess bone development) and growth hormone levels.
At your age most likely the bone growth plates have closed. And if your height is similar to one of your parents or relatives then even if you had sought medical attention earlier they would have probably not made any intervention.
