I have been taking cyclogest 400mg (daily) and proluton 250mg shots (twice a week), aspicort. Can these lead to acne breakouts? If I stop them in 2nd trimester, will acne get better? please help!
Acne could be induced by pregnancy by itself but can also be induced by the intake of hormones. If that's the case then the acne will resolve after you stop them.
Acne can be due to the pregnancy itself as well as due to the extra hormones you are taking. Make sure first you need those extra hormones especially the twice weekly shots ( usually given once a week if indicated). Asprin is not a cause.Good Luck.
