Acne is a skin disease. If it is mild start with a cleanser for acne. If it doesn't improve then based on the type of acne that you have there are multiple creams that can be used. Unfortunately the treatment of acne is not standard for everybody and one cream could be suitable for a person while it does not fit another type. The best would be to get back to your dermatologist if the cleanser doesn't improve your acne.
