HIV transmission is done through body fluids, that includes blood, semen, vaginal fluids and of course saliva.

However, it is very uncommon that transmission could be done through oral sex (saliva). Though there has been no specific numbers, but the rate of HIV transmission through oral sex remains among the lowest ones. Please note that if she is HIV positive and she performed oral sex to you, then the rate of transmitting HIV to you us even lower! Provided no cuts or lesion had occurred to your penis or her oral cavity.

If you want to be extra sure, you can do the HIV test to your female partner as well.

In all cases, using latex condomes is a very effective method to prevent HIV transmission, whether vaginal, oral or anal sex.

Although HIV transmission via oral sex is possible, only 3% of HIV infections happens through oral sex. This emphasizes the low risk of transmission of HIV from an infected saliva.
After an incubation period (time from exposure to the virus till having symptoms) of few days to few weeks (mostly after 2 to 6 weeks), the infected person usually might experience flu-like illness. The symptoms that you describe (mainly including gastrointestinal symptoms) are atypical for a primo-infection and are less likely to be due to an HIV infection.
To fully eliminate the possibility of HIV transmission to you, you must repeat the HIV serology test at 3 months from exposure.
Finally, always use a condom even during oral sex. It is very important to change the condom when shifting from oral sex to another form of sex because the condom might be torn by the teeth.
