I am suffering from a dizziness even when I am laying down. The general health doctor said that it is due to a "calcul" in the inner ear. How true is that and what is the treatment for it?

It is not true , it is a positional vertigo u have to prevent sudden movements and take anti vertiginous drugs.

calcul in the ear will give a feeling that the room is turning around when you turn your head, it may also be associated with nausea and sometimes vomiting. sometimes the doctor can do certain maneuvers to make those calcul settle. you may need to take medication to stop this whirling sensation. certain excercises like turning the head slowly to the side that causes the vertigo can make it go quicker.
