I am seeking revision rhinoplasty. I heard theres a "laser nose job" now that supposedly minimizes bruises & surgical openings. So what are my options? I've read its more difficult. Thank u in advnce
Revision rhinoplasty can be very broad. It goes from tip enhancement, to dorsal restoration, width correction or small irregularities masking. The arrays of solutions go from micro fat injections, to correct local deformitie, mini invasive cartilage replacement to the true incisional rhinoplasty. Bruising is related to the type of reintervention but it can be very minimal. As for laser surgery, it did not demonstrate any superiority in rhinoplasty. In general it is not the instrument that gives the good result but the hand holding it. Always seek the advice of board certified plastic surgeons when seeking aesthetic surgery.
