Hi, I just asked a question abt baby boy 4months;he'not eating properly & vomiting when coughing 3 to 4 times/day;so still no medication for that?my physician told me abt asmalat;is it ok to give him?
Your child is coughing and then vomiting. The vomiting is due to the force of the coughing. You have to clean the nose properly so that he doesn't swallow the secretions stuffed in his nose which can increase the coughing. The nasal washing is better than any cough medication,
Asmalat is a brochodilator (relax bronchial smooth muscle) used in asthmatic children. I don't think it will be of use in your child. To note that, i don't have a proper history and i do not know your child's past medical history also.
