Hi, great site! My 8 yrs old son's face has been very dry: his cheeks, around his mouth and eyes. Also, he gets some reddish patches under his left eye often, but no itching. Anything alarming? Thanks
Dryness of the skin is not alarming but it may be annoying and can predispose to skin allergy (eczema).
You should probably consult your pediatrician to make the right diagnosis and prescribe appropriate medication if needed to treat dry skin on the long term.
