Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
No, not really, a low magnesium level in the blood is not usually associated with headaches. The commonly reported symptoms associated a decreased magnesium level include muscle weakness, confusion, and decreased reflexes with severely low blood magnesium levels. You may also notice "jerky" movements, or involuntary muscle twitches.
In any case, you need to visit the doctor's office for a proper evaluation of your headaches.
