Being 29 years old i am facing a high blood pressure raising in average btw 14 - 15 / 8.5-9.5 what do you advise? I have passed in stressful situations for a period of time but now what shall i do?
High blood pressure ( hypertension) is a major cause for long-term problems involving the heart, kidneys, and brain, discovering hypertension and treating it if necessary will prevent these problems.
Although your high blood pressure might be related to stress, it is not uncommon to see hypertension at your age.
I advise you to measure your blood pressure more frequently at home or at a doctor's office, and in doubt a 24 hour blood pressure monitor may be done to be sure if high blood pressure is present or not.
Lifestyle modifications that you should start right away are to decrease the amount of salt in your diet, decrease the amount of caffeinated beverages and soda if you are used to take these excessively, exercise , and stop smoking.
I advise you to see your doctor, in addition to physical examination, a set of necessary labs may be done , and if lifestyle modifications as above are not successful in reducing your blood pressure, medication may be necessary.
Either way, your blood pressure should not be more than 14/8 to prevent long-term problems.

Annual Checkup
It is recommended that all individuals see a Family Doctor for a full medical examination annually. Adults should get their blood pressure checked (US Preventive Task Force), a flu vaccine (CDC) and more each year.
The American Dental Association recommends dental cleanings for adults at least twice annually. Some stains can only be removed by a professional cleaning.
It’s recommended by the American Academy of Ophthalmology that every adult between the ages of 18 and 80 does an eye examination at least once every two years.
It's recommended by the American Cancer Association that every adult between the age of 20 and 80 does an annual skin screening by a licensed dermatologist.
