Am 29 weeks and 4 days pregnant with twins.i did morpho on week 20 and triple test on week 17 all was normal.in my last echo my doc said she saw something beside tge girl's lip.what could it be?
The thing beside the girl lip might be cleft lip ,but since your doctor don't confirm a diagnosis of what she saw ,then wait for the other appointment echography to insure that.
Fetal Anomaly Scan (FAS) are offered a detailed ultrasound scan at about 20 weeks to see if your baby is developing normally,This ultrasound scan is very accurate but unfortunately it cannot diagnose 100% of congenital abnormalities. If the scan is complete, we would expect to pick up at least 95% of cases of spina bifida, 80% of cases of cleft lip or palate, and 60% to 70% of cases of congenital heart disease.
