After having a seizure (1st time) my friend is starting to have panic attacks. We've seen a neurologist, going to get results soon, is there anything else we should check out?

Dr. Salim Saab Otolaryngology (ENT)
Normally after seizures, a cerebral CT scan should be done to determine if there's a lesion, and an EEG to determine if it's Epilepsy (focal or general).

Dr. Rania Mousa General Medicine
The primary goal of the medical evaluation is to figure out if your friend symptoms were actually caused by a seizure and, if so, why the seizure occurred.
To make a diagnosis, your doctor may perform or order:
1-Complete neurological exam(Take a detailed medical history including a family history of seizures,Gather information about the behavior before, during, and after the episode,Do a complete physical and neurological exam)
2-Blood work and other lab tests to look for abnormalities in blood glucose, electrolytes, and other factors
3-Imaging tests of the brain
Brain imaging tests such as an MRI or CT scan to help narrow down a possible treatable cause
4-Electroencephalogram, to test your brain's electrical activity and to identify any abnormal electrical misfiring in the brain and help predict the risk of future seizures
Your doctor will also ask a series of questions to find out if any of these factors may be responsible for the seizure:
-Drug or alcohol use
-Injury to the head
-High fever or infection
-Genetic abnormality
this is the work up for first time seizure coming patient ,previously being normal with no past medical conditions
