??The solution for trouble memory for dislexia children
Apr 21, 2013

Dr. Judy Matta Pediatrics
Children with dyslexia have problem with the working memory. As a parent, you can try to improve poor working memory by using various games to develop memory skills:

-Playing memory games using cards or articles, toys, etc, will be helpful
ex:show him a tray of objects for a minute and then see what he can remember. Increase the number of items to make it harder.

-Provide only short lists of things to remember. Start with only a few things, then add other items to the list.

-Try to encourage the use of drawings. Children with working memory difficulties can often remember things better if they have some visual image of the item
