I only have a runny nose in winter. Why?
Sep 17, 2014

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
This could be a seasonal type pf allergy, incited by a specific trigger during the winter season, or possibly because of the cold weather. To identify the exact trigger, you need to do a skin pinprick allergy test, because the best way to avoid allergic symptoms is to avoid the trigger or allergen. You can also alleviate the symptoms by maintaining good nasal hygiene (use nasal saline spray), intranasal steroid sprays, and oral anti histamine tablets.
