Dr. Mohamad Siblini Surgery
15 days post colorectal surgery with no known complications has no restriction on diet unless restricted by other medical causes. Normally patient can resume his or her usual diet one week post surgery. Constipation ,if present , can be resolved with change in diet (by adding vegetables and drinking water) and with the help of some laxative. if severe abdominal distension is present and/or fever, nausea, vomiting are present immediate consultation of your surgeon should be done.
