My jaw keeps on cracking when I chew, is this a serious case?
Mar 11, 2013

Dr. Jeff Khoury Dentistry
There are several causes for jaw cracking. But in general if it is asymptomatic (meaning without pain) there is no need to panic now . The solution is to see what is causing this cracking and to treat it before it get worse. Please note that with time, the muscles of your jaw will be over-stressed and you will start to have muscle spams, which will lead to more cracking, pain and a limitation in jaw opening.
