Massive weight loss improves drastically your general physical and medical condition but has some consequences namely in the body shape and face.
Deflating quickly gives some sagging of the tissues.
Depresses and bony area of the face are revealed giving a tired look.
The solution is replenishing the hollows. Restoring the volumes.
This could be done through a definitive approach or a temporary one.
Temporary solution (9 mtgs to 1,5 yrs): use of hyaluronic acid fillers of specific density adapted to where it is injected, can restore significantly the voume of your face. This is done in the clinic without the need of a surgical setting, and there is almost no down time (48h of moderate swelling)
Long lasting solution: micro fat grafting: the idea is harvesting from special areas of your body thin fatty particles that are prepared and reinjected in specific amounts and area of your face. The take of the fat can be close to 70% if done properly. This needs a correct surgical setting for sterility issues. The swelling is close to a week, the result is definitive.
