Im most comfortable that sleeping on my stomach is that bad? and if i have posture and anterior head carriage whats the solution?
Jan 12, 2016

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
Sleeping on your stomach places a great deal of strain on your spine and back muscles as they get pulled down by the weight of the abdomen and the organs in it, so we recommend against this sleeping position.
Regarding the anterior head carriage, you need to be aware of when you position your head like that and train yourself to avoid this or stop it when it happens. It is a habit, not something you are born with or forced to do because of a deformity in your spine.
