I have a gynecomastia, can I treat it without surgery or liposuction?
Apr 24, 2014

Dr. Michel Moutran Plastic Surgery
Gynecomastia is idiopathic in 95 % of the cases (unexplained). In rare cases, it can have a hormonal origin. Thorough clinical examination and sometimes specific blood tests will help in ruling out any medical condition responsible for the gynecomastia. If a hormonal imbalance is found, appropriate medications can restore the balance without a 100% reversibility of gynecomastia.
Surgery is the preferred and radical solution to gynecomastia.
Surgical treatment can go from specific liposuction to minimal incision removal of the gynecomastia.
