I am a calcium stone former, I have been told that I need to reduce my salt and meat consumption. Does that mean I have to reduce my chicken and fish consumption as well ?

Dr. Jinan Usta Family Medicine
there are two types of calcium stones: calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate. to prevent calcium stone in general, it is better to reduce salt intake and reduce animal protein in diet such as meat, egg, fish. if you have calcium oxalate stone, it is better to avoid oxalate rich food like spinach, nuts, wheat bran..
