Is it true that drinking water only at night is not helpful or healthy? I usually drink about 2 litres of water everyday but sometimes I drink them after 6pm, is it fine?

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
As long as you have a healthy heart and healthy kidneys, you do not need to worry about when you drink water, though drinking a large amount of water within a relatively short period of time may suppress your appetite, so you'll end up skipping a meal (dinner). Additionally, drinking a lot of water at night will drive diuresis - you will have to pass a lot of urine so you'll have to wake up frequently at night which will disrupt your sleep and that's not desirable.
