Can I eat food with soy sauce if I have a high LDL level
May 9, 2015

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
Yes you may, especially knowing that soy and soy containing foods help decrease your LDL cholesterol, though only by a small percentage (3%). One thing you need to watch out for is the content of cholesterol, saturated fat and sugar in the product you're consuming - these need to be low so as not to raise your level of LDL.
