Can a woman become pregnant natural after having ivf two time
Aug 1, 2014

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
An overall spontaneous conception rate of 10–20% has been reported in infertile patients subsequent to IVF attempts.
Scientists have also reported that lifestyle factors play a major role in the possibility of natural conception post IVF. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle after IVF treatment maximizes the chances of a subsequent natural pregnancy. This includes healthy weight, avoiding tobacco smoking, limiting caffeine and alcohol consumption, and exercising regularly.
Similarly, increasing maternal age and having had >4 previous IVF attempts also appeared to reduce the chances of subsequent natural pregnancy. If this was due to uterine, cervical or ovarian problems or subfertility in their male partners, the chances of a successful natural pregnancy after stopping IVF is significant. If however the woman had 'unexplained' infertility problems or the problem was with tubal pathology, her chances of a natural pregnancy become quite reduced.
