Can a pregnant woman use topical acne medications? I know the ones that contain vitamin A are not allowed, but what about the others?

Most of acne treatment should not be used during pregnancy. One safe one that can be used is topical erythromycin.

true, Vit A containing medication should not be used ( though a value less than 2500 I.U can be given) because it is teratogenic to the fetus ( causes malformation),
it depends on the topical medication you will be using in fact,
most importantly, acne can be caused by the physiological hormonal changes in normal pregnancies, so it will be most probably reversible..
it would be advisable though to seek medical advice when having them..
