- The ideal recommended time is 6 weeks after normal vaginal delivery, although some could earlier without a problem, like after 4 weeks.

Took epidural for vaginal delivery, now my back is hurting a lot (4 months since delivery) especially in the area I got the shot. I sometimes cannot stand the pain, is that normal? Will it get better?
