This is unusual. There may be an underlying problem in the scalp itself that is being manifested the pain after you wash your hair.
Excessive pulling on the hair or on the scalp during brushing could be a cause.I would also recommend reconsidering your brand of shampoo as this might be contributing to a type of allergy.
It would be better if you are evaluated by a dermatologist to make sure that there are no underlying conditions in the scalp itself such as skin irritation that could explain discomfort.
