My husband, 31 years old, was has an unseen ganglion on the bottom of his abdomen (lymph nodes of groin area), he occasionally suffer from abdominal pain. Any idea what it could be?
Inguinal lymph nodes are more commonly known as groin nodes (glands). The biggest problem with them swelling is that due to the location, both men and women (especially men) avoid having these nodes checked by a doctor.
For many, the swelling will go away without treatment, but for serious conditions, it is important for prompt medical care.
Inguinal lymph nodes are located where the upper leg and the lower pelvic area connect, along the crease. They are also known as femoral lymph nodes.
The lymphatic (Lymph Node System) removes and filters debris from the body, the lymph nodes can become overloaded doing their job, this will cause the lymph glands and lymph gland groups to become enlarged and swollen in the groin area. The lymph nodes in the groin (femoral or inguinal lymph nodes) may swell from an injury or infection in the foot, leg, groin, or genitals
So the cause of the lymph node swelling might be the same cause of the occasional abdominal pain ,so he must see the doctor to know the cause and give the necessary treatment.
