My heart hurts and my left hand numbness,it can cause of what?
Apr 30, 2014

Dr. Rania Mousa General Medicine
There are many different causes of chest pain and numbness, and the type of pain is a key indicator of the cause of the discomfort,Chest pain may be caused by problems in your heart , lungs, esophagus(acid reflux,gerd,..), muscles(spasms, tear ,strain,..), ribs, or nerves, for example. Some of these conditions are serious and life threatening. Others are not. If you have unexplained chest pain, the only way to confirm its cause is to have a doctor evaluate you.
depending on other symptoms you have ,the cause is known .
if the pain is suddenly felt ,with no nausea ,short of breath ,sweatness, fainting ,....and only you suffer from numbness and chest pain, then probably it may be muscular ,you may have been slept on this side and this causes you the problem ,take over the counter painkiller or antiinflammatory medicine and the pain will resolve at its own .
if the pain remain despite that ,then check with your doctor for other cause tests.

Numbness in your case, it seems that you are neurotonic. Your blood pressure became high so it gave you chest pain and hand numbness.
