My doctor prescribed me Geriatic Pharmaton as a vitamin, 1 capsule each day, and dorixina for muscle pain. Can I have more information on these 2 drugs? What is zona in Arabic?
Geriatric Pharmaton capsules contains a combination of vitamins, minerals and trace elements and Ginseng G115 extract; this product is claimed to combat symptoms of exhaustion, tiredness, decreasing concentration and mental alertness. I do not know about the effectiveness of vitamin supplements, but I do have to point your attention to the fact that a recent large study conducted in Harvard University have shown that vitamin supplements should not be taken unless there is a documented vitamin deficiency or the individual suffers from overt symptoms of vitamin deficiency.
Dorixina is an analgesic non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), mainly used for muscle and bone pain.
Zona (or shingles) in arabic means زنار نار.
