I've been having unusual abdominal bloating for 4 days and recently added abdominal pain. Checked with the doctor, he said it's not bloating. Could it be a sign of ovarian cancer? What to do?

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
Just because it is not bloating, it does not automatically imply it is ovarian cancer. You need to get a proper and thorough evaluation by a reliable physician, which includes detailed history of your symptoms: time of onset of bloating and pain, location, radiation to nearby areas, associated symptoms (like nausea, vomiting, flatulence, constipation), what relieves or worsens the symptoms, anything that you could relate to the appearance of the symptoms. medication you may be taking, family history etc, and a thorough physical examination; lab tests or imaging may be requested based upon the primary evaluation.
It could be a simple case of constipation with secondary stool loading and bloating/pain, but a proper diagnosis cannot be established with a live evaluation.
