Is it possible that a fly or a small insect can get inside the ear and start buzzing? If yes, is it dangerous?
Jan 16, 2014

Dr. Raffi Jil-Hagopian Otolaryngology (ENT)
No, there is not a danger or a problem when a fly or insect gets into the ear canal: it just makes buzzing noise and discomforts the patient. Most of the times they get killed by the ear wax itself, and the doctor simply removes them via syringing the ear canal or special allegator forceps.
