I used retin A + erythromycin type cream to exfoliate and 2 days later inflamed pimples got out, do this mean the lotion speeded up the process of them getting out with time?

Dr. Salim Saab Otolaryngology (ENT)
Yes, this means that the lotion speeded up the process of pimple treatment.

The two medicines treat acne in different ways. Erythromycin is an antibiotic; when taken as a daily pill or topical treatment it kills acnes, the bacteria that causes acne. Retin-A is a form of vitamin A; applied topically it peels and exfoliates the skin, unclogging pores to prevent pimples. so retin-A got out your pimples
WARNING:Retin-A can cause severe peeling and irritation to the skin. Never use more than a pea-sized amount to cover the face, and ask your doctor about applying it every other night until your skin adapts.
