I heard of a machine called Brightocular that can change the colour of the iris into brown, gray, blue and green. Is this a safe procedure and can we do it in Lebanon?
It is a very dangerous procedure, no matter how easy they make it look, and it's not FDA approved. There are now numerous scientific papers reporting permanent damage and loss of vision as a direct result of iris color surgery Having this surgery to change the color of your eyes places you at risk of going blind. There is currently absolutely no evidence that this surgery is safe for an otherwise healthy eye. You are far safer just using colored contact lens and being followed carefully by your Ophthalmologist (eye doctor).
