Hair Dandruff can be resistant to treatment. If there is itching, Shampoo alone won't be enough. In this case, the best thing to use is Elocom lotion (once a day after shower, on a dry scalp) for 5-7 days. As a shampoo, you can use Node DS as treatment and as a maintenance.
You should keep in mind that dandruff can be a recurrent condition. If it recurs, you can use elocom lotion again.
It can be seborrheic dermatitis a condition caused by a fungus in the scalp, it can also be psoriasis of the scalp, only a dermatologist can know the difference therefore I recommend you get checked by one.
