I have this tonsil inflammation for a week and a half on one side. i started to take antibiotic 4 days ago, and this inflammation didnt go yet. is it serious? does it need time? how long?
I advise you to be seen by your primary care physician but if you are not improving on antibiotics you might have a viral tonsillitis or you can have a peritonsillar abscess which needs drainage. so i advised you to be checked by your physician
