Dr. Salim Saab Otolaryngology (ENT)
If it's neither not a corn, it could be a blister. You should still consult with your podiatrist to be sure and for a correction, if possible.

if you are a type of person wearing his shoes all the day or for a long time then this your foot and especially your toes are not having the good circulation necessary for healthy feet (especially you are saying tight shoes ,) then a bad feet circulation and sweating feet (of wearing shoes for long time )and unbreathing skin if we can call it like this wearing socks and shoes long periods all these factors are favorite environment for fungus growth and thus having a fungal infection on the toes where the circulation is the least or sometimes if this is nit the case might be an allergic reaction to the shoes or the socks ,
so try:
-not to wear your shoes for long time or if your had to then switch between a close shoes and an open one this can help and make sure the shoe is not making the problem (by trying different shoe sometimes you can have an allergic reaction from a shoe )
-elevate your legs from time to time especially if you are standingmost of your time try to take a rest and elevate your legs to inhance circulation in them
-massage your feet to inhance circulation
-wear cotton loose socks some socks may make allergic reaction that may be related to your case
concerning your toe if it is not an allergy and it is a fungal infection you can use a topical antifungal cream and follow the above tips
NOTE if you are diabetic or having any other disease u must consult your dr to assess the full case and make the necessary
