I have no muscle in my right chest under the shoulder. I was born with it. I think they call it Poland Syndrome. Is there a surgery for it?

Dr. Michel Moutran Plastic Surgery
Poland syndrome is a very typical syndrome as you should know by now involving pectoral muscle (chest) the breast and sometimes the hand. The restoration of the thoracic wall and namely the breast is challengîng. In recent years it has been revolutionized by fat grafting. Fat grafting is harvesting your proper fat, treating it in specific mannee and reinjecting it in multi layere to restore the absent pectoral muscle (mimicking its contour) and restoring and repositining the breast ( some times nipple and areola are higher than they should be). After a thorough examination and after some imaging, a clear surgical plan should be offered to you. You should seek the advice of a board certifies plastic surgeon who is at ease with fat grafting techniques.
