I have been very gassy along with stomach pain, hurts on both sides of my body under the ribcage and my back also hurts. What could this be?

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
The flatulence (gassiness) with your intestines full of gas can cause them to be larger in volume than usual, and so they can easily press against the diaphragm (the main respiration muscle) and all around the muscles of your abdomen. This produces abdominal pain that radiates to the back and pushes against the stomach, so you not only feel bloated but also sometimes unable to eat without getting a stomach upset.
You may want to try natural herbal drinks or supplements (charcoal-based tablets) to help regulate your intestinal function and reduce the bloating and flatulence. Try keeping a diet diary, maybe certain types of food are making the problem worse, like dairy products for example. You may need to avoid such foods or reduce their consumption.
