I got my blood test results and will show it to my doctor to check it. The risky exams are: LDL Cholesterol = 113 SGPT=86 GGT=104. What does it mean and what are the treatments?

Dr. Mohamad Siblini Surgery
Your LDL is acceptable. The SGPT and GGT are slightly increased. Before jumping to conclusion, I should compare these studies to previous ones (if they exist). If not then I advise you to wait for another 3 months and repeat the studies. Now, if you have symptoms like abdominal pain or discomfort or signs like nausea, vomiting ,and/or anorexia I think you should do an U/S of abdomen.
If you have zero symptoms, just wait and repeat the studies in 3 months.
Some very obese people might have such lab numbers, so if you send me your weight and height I can give you more accurate responses.

Only there is an increase slightly of the liver enzymes which means chemically a slight dysfunction of the liver we need to have a clinical correlation & a liver function test done before.
