I got herpes and it is growing and spreading slightly far away from my mouth.. I used to apply cyclovex or zovirax, few days after, herpes passed out of existence. What should i do? I need ur help
If it is a recurrence of herpesvirus and you are in good health it should heal by itself. Antiviral topical creams can just speed up the healing and need to be applied 5 times a day. If you are already healed nothing should be done. Some people can have a recurrence of herpesvirus during stressful event, or other factors. If it does just reapply the antiviral creams again. If recurrences become so frequent (once to twice per month) then you have to consult.
Hello ! you can take valtrex pills if the herpes is spreading. usually it is most effective during the first two days of the herpetic eruption. you can use an anti-bacterial cream (Fucidin cream) daily because the lesion can get superinfected. If the lesion doesn't get better in 5 days, then it is better to consult a dermatologist.
