I am on roaccutane (isotrotinion) 40 mg first month is it okay to have a beer or two on the weekends? If yes I dont take the drug on that day ? Also I usually take it midnight before I sleep is that
There are no reported interactions between isotretinoin and alcohol, yet since they both induce some form if liver injury (hence the elevation in liver enzymes), it is advisable that while on treatment with isotretinoin to keep the alcohol consumption to a bare minimum or avoid it all in all. Having 1 beer per day during the weekend should be OK, but try not to go for beverages with high alcoholic content (like vodka or whiskey)
